Ios 26 released, with many users frustrated with the visual and auditory changes.
So why does IOS 26 feel so different?
Apple changed the entire audio pipeline in iOS 26 by introducing a new system‑wide equalizer that reshapes sound before it reaches any app. The new EQ curve reduces low frequencies and boosts upper mids to protect small speakers, which makes the sound signature feel inverted compared to earlier versions.
Apple also made this system EQ override app‑level equalizers, meaning Spotify, Apple Music, and other players now sit beneath Apple’s processing instead of controlling it.
Music sounds different now, even when you don’t change anything. The bass feels smaller, and the songs feel thin. The sound is not warm like before, and it feels strange in your ears. It makes the music feel like it lost something you can’t get back.
Our team will update this site with a list of solutions we have to reverse this iPhone update.
